About Ben Spies

Ben Spies was born on July 11th 1984 in Tennessee. He won the 2009 World Superbike Championship in his rookie year. In 2010 he was MotoGP's 'Rookie of the Year' with 176 points. He won the Dutch MotoGP in Assen in June 2011, becoming only the second Superbike rider to win a MotoGP race.
